Skills Training

At Grit N Grind Hoops, our skills training sessions are about more than just getting reps in—they’re about developing complete players who can perform at a high level in every aspect of the game. Led by Coach Kobe and Coach Brady, each one-hour session is packed with purposeful drills designed to improve not only your skills but also your mindset, athleticism, and overall basketball IQ.

We take a lot of pride in the fundamentals—because the details matter. Footwork, body placement, and timing are at the core of everything we do. Whether it’s learning how to create space on offense, improve your shot mechanics, or lock down on defense, we focus on those small details that make a big difference.

But we don’t stop there. We also incorporate drills that build explosiveness, physicality, and confidence. Our goal is to push you outside your comfort zone, challenge you to be uncomfortable, and help you grow as a player and person. You’ll work on developing your quickness, reaction time, and strength, so when you step on the court, you feel ready to compete at your best.

No matter your skill level, these sessions are designed to meet you where you’re at and help you level up. Whether you’re getting ready for tryouts, looking to earn more minutes, or just hungry to improve, we’re here to put in the work with you.
